Pathway
TWIK-related alkaline pH activated K+ channel (TALK)
TWIK related alkaline pH activated K+ channels are activated by increase in the extracellular pH. TALK1 and TALK 2 are members of the TALK subfamily and are both are activated by rise in extracellular pH. TALK 2 is expressed in proximal tubule cells and collecting duct cells.
