By accessing or using Catalyst OS (catalystproject.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
2. Description of Service
Catalyst OS is an AI-powered personal development platform organized around five life dimensions: Mind, Body, Heart, Wealth, and Spirit. The platform provides:
- Free calculator suite (44+ evidence-based calculators across all dimensions)
- The Mirror: A premium AI-powered life audit dashboard including journaling, goal tracking, achievements, challenges, and personalized AI chat
- Research library with evidence-based content
- Educational resources and articles
- Weekly newsletter digest
- One-on-one consulting services
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- One account per person; no account sharing permitted
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Free Services
The following features are available without an account or payment:
- Full access to the calculator suite (44+ calculators)
- Educational articles and resources
- Newsletter subscription
Calculator results may be saved to your Mirror dashboard if you have an account, enabling AI personalization based on your actual data.
5. Subscription Services
5.1 The Mirror Subscription
- Monthly subscription: $29/month
- Includes unlimited AI chat, journaling, goal tracking, achievements, challenges, insights, and research library access
- Billed automatically each month via Stripe
- Cancel anytime; access continues until end of current billing period
- 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
- No refunds for partial months after the guarantee period
5.2 Subscription Management
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Stripe customer portal
- Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid period
- Your data remains available for export after cancellation
- Reactivation is available at any time at current pricing
6. Consulting Services
We offer consulting services booked through our scheduling platform:
- Discovery Call (30 minutes): $50
- Strategy Session (60 minutes): $500
- Consulting Engagements: Starting at $5,000 (custom scope and pricing)
Discovery calls and strategy sessions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with 24 hours notice. No-shows forfeit the session fee. Consulting engagement terms and refund policies are defined in individual statements of work.
7. Newsletter
- Our weekly newsletter contains curated content, insights, and updates
- You may subscribe with your email address without creating an account
- You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email
- We do not sell or share email addresses with third parties for marketing
8. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without written permission
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Use the AI chat system to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- Circumvent any rate limits or usage restrictions
9. Intellectual Property
- All content, design, code, and branding on Catalyst OS is owned by The Catalyst Project LLC
- You retain full ownership of content you create (journal entries, goals, notes)
- Calculator results and AI-generated insights based on your data belong to you
- You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service
- Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without written permission
- Educational content may be shared with attribution but not sold or republished
10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Important: The Mirror uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate personalized insights and recommendations. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
- AI outputs should not replace professional medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
- You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI outputs
- Always consult qualified professionals for important health, financial, or legal decisions
- The AI learns from your provided data but does not have access to external information about you
- AI responses may occasionally be incorrect, outdated, or inappropriate
11. Calculator Disclaimer
Our calculators provide estimates based on published research and established formulas. Results are educational and should not be treated as medical diagnoses, financial advice, or professional recommendations.
- Body calculators (TDEE, macros, etc.) provide estimates that vary by individual
- Financial calculators (FIRE, compound interest, etc.) use assumptions that may not match your situation
- Mental health indicators (burnout risk, etc.) are screening tools, not clinical assessments
- Always verify important calculations with qualified professionals
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CATALYST PROJECT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Catalyst Project LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
15. Termination
- We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these terms
- We may terminate or suspend your account with notice for any other reason
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
- Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
- You may export your data before account deletion
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bexar County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Catalyst Project LLC regarding the use of the service, superseding any prior agreements.
