Terms of Service

catalystproject.ai (the "Site") is operated by The Catalyst Project LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as "Catalyst Consulting" ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site has two distinct offerings:

• Catalyst Consulting — fixed-price AI and automation implementation services for businesses, described on the Services, Industries, Process, and Pricing pages.
• The Catalyst Project — a free educational library: interactive calculators, the Decode learning game, articles and resources, the email newsletter, the Forge workflow bundles, and the optional Mirror dashboard.

These Terms govern your use of the website and its free resources. They do not, by themselves, create a consulting engagement — see Section 6.

Everything published on the Site — calculators, articles, insights, the Decode game, downloadable bundles — is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not, and is not a substitute for, professional medical, financial, legal, tax, engineering, or business advice.

• Calculators produce estimates from published formulas and your inputs. Individual results vary. They are not diagnoses or recommendations.
• Articles and insights reflect our opinions and reading of the evidence at the time of writing. They may become outdated.
• You are responsible for decisions you make based on anything on the Site. For consequential health, financial, or legal decisions, consult a qualified professional.

The Forge offers downloadable automation templates (n8n workflow bundles). These are made available free of charge, and the following terms apply specifically to them:

• They are provided as-is, as starting points — not finished products. They are not guaranteed to be complete, secure, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
• You may use, modify, and deploy them for your own purposes, including commercially, at your own risk.
• You may not resell or redistribute the bundles as-is as your own product or template library.
• Downloading a bundle does not create a support obligation or a consulting relationship. We may change or withdraw bundles at any time.

Most of the Site is usable without an account. Some Catalyst Project features — notably the Mirror dashboard — support an optional free account.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or to engage our consulting services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• The Mirror is currently offered free of charge and is not actively marketed. If we introduce paid features in the future, the price and billing terms will be presented clearly before you are charged, and no charge will occur without your explicit consent.
• You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• You can subscribe to our email newsletter with just an email address — no account required.
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• We do not sell or rent newsletter email addresses to third parties.

Catalyst Consulting sells fixed-price implementation engagements. This is the most important thing to understand about how paid work is governed:

• A discovery call is free and creates no obligation on either side.
• A paid Strategy Session (currently $500) is a deeper scoping conversation; its fee is credited toward an engagement if you proceed.
• Engagements are governed by a separate, written agreement — the Strategy document or statement of work — signed by both you and us. That document defines the exact scope, deliverables, fixed price, timeline, payment schedule, support window, and refund terms.
• Prices shown on the Site (for example, the Sovereignty Starter, Pro, and Custom tiers) are indicative starting points for orientation. They may change, and they are not an offer. The only binding price for your project is the one stated in your signed engagement agreement.
• If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed engagement agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site or its servers;
• Upload or transmit malicious code;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Site content (other than the Forge bundles, per Section 3) without written permission;
• Misrepresent your identity or submit false information through forms.

• The Site's design, code, written content, branding, and logos are owned by The Catalyst Project LLC and may not be used without written permission, except as expressly allowed here.
• Forge workflow bundles are licensed for your use as described in Section 3.
• Educational articles may be quoted with attribution and a link, but not republished in full or sold.
• You retain ownership of content you submit (contact-form messages, account data, calculator inputs). You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate the Site and respond to you.
• Work product created during a paid engagement is owned per the terms of your signed engagement agreement — which is built around transferring ownership to you at handoff.

The Site relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, database, email, scheduling, and AI services — see the Privacy Policy for the list). It may also link to external sites. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services and sites.

THE SITE AND ALL FREE RESOURCES ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY RESULT, CALCULATOR OUTPUT, OR DOWNLOADED BUNDLE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CATALYST PROJECT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SITE OR ITS FREE RESOURCES. Liability arising from a paid consulting engagement is addressed in, and limited by, your signed engagement agreement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Catalyst Project LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or costs arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

The Site is actively developed. Free tools, articles, and bundles may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms; when we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted prominently on the Site. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, unless your signed engagement agreement specifies otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy — and, for a paid engagement, your signed engagement agreement — constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding their subject matter.
