Endpoint
Intraventricular haemorrhage incidence
CAT:outcome/intraventricular-haemorrhage-incidencereported in risk ratio
Method
Proportion of infants with intraventricular haemorrhage on cranial ultrasound, graded by the Papile classification, pooled as a risk ratio or odds ratio. The grade counted as an event is recorded on the edge, since trials report either any grade or severe grades III-IV.
The method is part of the endpoint identity. Studies measuring the same quantity by a different method are held as separate endpoints.
Notes
6 papers, 5 of them pooled. A FALL is benefit. As with retinopathy of prematurity, any-grade and severe-grade are different endpoints and an edge must record which.
