Molecular adapter required for the movement of immune cells, such as mast cells, neutrophils and T-cells, to sites of inflammation or infection (By similarity). Acts as a regulator of antifungal immunity in macrophages by acting as a molecular adapter between ATAT1 and alpha-tubulin, promoting alpha-tubulin acetylation and antifungal immune response. Also acts as a positive regulator of cGAS-STING signaling by promoting plasma membrane localization of CGAS: following phosphorylation by SYK, acts as an molecular adapter by recruiting KAT2A to CGAS at the plasma membrane, leading to CGAS acetylation and activation..
