How it is measured

Elapsed time from randomisation until every vasopressor is stopped and stays stopped for the trial's stated washout — 48 consecutive hours in both papers that informed this endpoint. Reported in hours or days. Three things are recorded with each finding and all three are required: the washout, the horizon at which the analysis is truncated, and the censoring rule. The censoring rule decides what the number means.
