Method

Global cognitive score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, 0 to 30, administered by a trained assessor, with the one-point adjustment for low education applied as the instrument specifies and recorded on the edge where the study states it.

The method is part of the endpoint identity. Studies measuring the same quantity by a different method are held as separate endpoints.

Notes

9 papers, all randomised. RISING is better. Shares the 0-30 range with the Mini-Mental State Examination and is a DIFFERENT instrument — more sensitive to mild impairment, so the same person scores lower here. A paper reporting both states two findings, not one, and pooling them would be pooling two scales.
