Formalin-test nociceptive behaviour time

How it is measured

Cumulative time, in seconds, spent in nociceptive behaviour (licking, biting or flinching of the injected paw) after intraplantar formalin injection in a rodent, scored by an observer or video over a stated observation window. The phase scored (early, 0-5 min, or late/second phase) and the species are recorded with each finding.
