How it is measured
Total antioxidant capacity of ovarian follicular fluid aspirated at oocyte retrieval, by colorimetric assay (FRAP or equivalent), recorded with the assay kit. Total oxidant status and the oxidative stress index (total oxidant status divided by total antioxidant capacity) are reported alongside and recorded as such.
