How it is measured

Severity or depth of periorbital or facial wrinkling, by image analysis of a silicone replica or standardised photograph, or by a validated ordinal grading scale scored by a trained assessor. Method and anatomical site recorded with each finding. Where a scale is used, higher scores mean more severe wrinkling; where depth or area is measured, the raw quantity is recorded.
