Clinical response to therapeutic thiamine (panel-judged)

How it is measured

Proportion of infants with suspected thiamine deficiency judged to have responded clinically to therapeutic thiamine, by a subjective review of the clinical course by a panel of three paediatricians. The response is the panel's judgement, not a threshold on a scored instrument. The time window after the first thiamine dose at which the panel judged response is recorded with each finding.
