How it is measured

Concentration of free tyrosine in venous blood, plasma or serum, in micromoles per litre. The matrix actually sampled (plasma, serum or whole blood), the assay (amino acid analyser, HPLC or LC-MS/MS) where stated, fasting state and time since the last dose or meal are recorded with each finding; a source that names only blood is recorded as such.
