A central sleep apnea syndrome considered to be idiopathic. Clinical signs include snoring, insomnia or hypersomnia, difficulty concentrating, and fatigue. Recurrent episodes of hypoxia/hypoxemia have long-term detrimental effects on cardiovascular health.
