Definition
Glossopalatine ankylosis is a disorder belonging to the group of oromandibular-limb hypogenesis syndromes (OLHS) and is characterized by the presence of an intraoral band of variable thickness attaching the tongue to the hard palate or maxillary alveolar ridge.
